Doesn't fit 170
Got this for an older pair of Sennheser RS170's with a bad power supply, and sadly the plug on this didn't fit.The good news is that this power supply does have a removable/interchangeable adapter, so in theory, if you can find the right size then this thing should work. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find this information anywhere, so now this thing is gong in my extra adapter pile I suppose.

Does what it should do.
The original Sennheiser adapter had interchangeable plugs which didn't connect securely to the adapter so it was constantly losing its connection to the AC power. This adapter has a fixed plug for the AC side, and is a big improvement over the original garbage adapter.The vendor shipped it quickly, and it arrived earlier than promised.BTW: The original adapter had an output of 0.5 Amps and this one outputs 2 Amps. As a result, my headset recharges much faster than it did before.
