I went to Amazon and purchased the Rockler Pro router lift.The process started out well.It was very handy that I could also purchase the Rockler router table and the Rockler Fence with just a few clicks. The items came quickly. They were well packaged in cardboard without any foam. Yes! ...I hate foam packaging.But , alas, silly me, I thought the rockler router lift would fit in the Rockler router table! Well it doesn't. If accused, I will plead guilty to being your average blind consumer sometimes, but I swear there was nothing in the description telling me which unique Rockler router table has a slightly larger hole that would fit this unique and special router lift that is sized just a little bit differently from some other rockler appliance that fits into it's very own router table. I just spent a pile of money on three items that will get put in the corner and left unused. I don't have time to do a retrofit right now. My two other stone aged tables will have to suffice. I'm thinking return is out of the question with the packaging pulled apart and a thing so heavy.I'm not thrilled with the prospect of dropping more money on another router table top either. If my wife finds out I'm toast. I'm hiding the evidence and avoiding Rockler for now.

I just builded the router table witch follow a online instructions. So far my concern is the lifter well build very impressive look durable to me. But it did not come with adapter for my router. It on order and can not wait for try it out. So for now it just have 3 star when it been true test run I will come back giving the best review.

Pro lift was designed for a Porter-cable 7518 router. Guess what, you can not find a 7518 anywhere in ths USA to buy.
