Is the product harmful to the environment?

Absorbent products are mostly comprised of paper and plastic. All our wood pulp is sourced from sustainable forestry companies...almost exclusively in the USA. We are closely following new developments for sustainable alternatives to plastic for our waterproof barriers. As of right now, most governments have decided that plastics with biodegradable additives are more harmful to the environment due to off-gassing than ones without them and are trying to discourage or ban their use. We have visited all our factories and can ensure they are all up to very high quality standards. There is almost no labor involved in production of our products. They are produced on giant multi-million dollar high-tech machines. Lastly, there is some debate about the bleaching agent used which is chlorine dioxide gas. This is much safer for people and the environment than plain chlorine but we are working with our suppliers and the paper industry at offering non-chlorine alternatives.
