I purchased this capacitor for my outdoor AC unit a few years ago. My air conditioner was slow to turn on and would make this weird noise as it struggled to kick on. After doing a little research, I figured that my capacitor was on its way out. I went ahead and purchased this item in anticipation for my ac unit to quit. I'm glad that I had it on hand because when my AC unit finally gave out, I easily just popped in the new one and everything worked fine.I feel like the price for this part was excellent and it seems to be well rated. So far, after about 2 years of use it has been holding up well. I'm hoping to get many more years of life out of this capacitor. I may even buy one to keep on hand since these parts are very common to fail after a few years of use.

Easy DIY exact replacement for a failing AC dual run capacitor. Takes 5 minutes to do and may be needed to be done every few years, so learn how to do it. You will save yourself over a hundred bucks every time the service tech tells you it’s time, so keep a spare handy. But be safe and pull the power buss out and short out the capacitor across the terminals before you touch it. Also take a photo of the top of your old one before you pull off the wires so you know which wire goes to which terminal on the new one.

The item was fine but Amazon packaging was bad . They put items in bag instead of box and this item was damaged during shipping. It has dents in it but seems to be working fine so far

It's a good capacitor, it's in a nice can with Made in USA and flags all over it. It measures identical to its stated value. So beautiful it's a shame to hide it inside the condenser housing.

The packaging box is very thin and cheap, and the casing on the capacitor was deformed right out of the manufacturer’s box
