I painted my whole house using this machine and a few of my friend's places too. It is very easy to use and gives a great finish. The clean up is also really easy (I only ever used water based paints) with just hot water and soap, drip dry and then it is ready to go next time. It is very comfortable in your hand and not too heavy so your arm does not get tired. I always wore full PPE when I used it and the noise was never a problem.

I used this with water-based emulsion on doors and also with solvent wood preserver - worked well with both. They also had differing consistencies which the sprayer coped with. For large fences and sheds it is brilliant. I sprayed a shed wall in a few minutes rather than about 30 minutes with a brush. So fences, walls and ceilings would be great. It runs at quite a high flow rate and this is difficult to reduce - maybe I need more experience. As such I would be wary of say small objects or a picket fence as might waste a lot and also paint things you don't want to! It does say it is Wall & Ceiling... All in all I am pleasantly surprised with this my first sprayer and it did the jobs I wanted very well. I also bought an additional bottle and cap. Pleased with it. Cleaning was not as bad as I thought it would be too.

Have had sprayers before and have been disappointed, as they used too much paint; wasted too much paint, through overspray and leaks; also a right royal PITA to clean.As a result was a bit wary of this one. However, am very pleased to say it is a great bit of kit; a lot simpler to use and clean then other reviews would suggest and set-up for spraying is just as easy. I bought primarily for painting around 100m of fencing and a large timber clad shed. Needless to say it took a fraction of the time it would have by brush and the finish was excellent - even and consistent, really pleased with it. Am so pleased that I am now looking for other projects to use it on - even offering to do my neighbour’s fence!If you have any doubts don’t - it’s a great bit of kit, go on get it!!

This product does not do what it is described to do. I purchased it a week ago with a view to repainting the ceilings and walls of my home. It is almost impossible to control the way the spray comes out. I have used every combination of settings and nothing works, and I have watched just about every u-tube video there is for tips. So far it has taken 5 whole days to add a first coat of Dulex Matt Emulsion to the walls of one small room. I have not been able to first coat the ceiling. Several attempts to do so have resulted in an uncontrolled spatter of paint over the walls already covered, ruining them.The spray either spatters the paint in large globs and continues to do so even after switched off, for a minute or so, resulting in paint being directed everywhere, or else nothing comes out of the nozzle, which blocks within seconds of taking your finger off the trigger. Diluting the paint helped only a little, and I am now left with a room half-decorated, and my home re-decoration program is on hold until I can find a more reliable machine from a more reliable supplier.

I bough this to spray the wood in my campervan build. And it works a treat. I used the included mixing stick to measure out 10% water to the paint mix as it’s got notches on the stick to do so. I found it to work great straight out of the box.

Great for doors and fences. Not so great on internal walls due to the inconsistency in spraying

I only used the Wagner for paint so far but it was brilliant, easy to use, easy to clean and gave an excellent finish.

Pretty pleased with it so far.Bought to mainly use on stair spindles and newel posts etc. but as we were using Zinsser BIN initially to kill the old stain and varnish we were a little concerned at cleaning the kit as its a shellac paint so we painted the first 28 spindles and two newel posts) by brush which took just over 3 hours and was time consuming and boring. Bit the bullet and decided to use the sprayer, excellent decision, amazing finish and took just 45 minutes, then painted the rest of the stairs (another 23 spindles and a newel post) easily.Cleaned the kit with methylated spirit for that particular paint which was straight forward. The following day changed to a water based undercoat and that went very well too followed by a sheen top coat and very very pleased with the finish.It was easy seeing the first shellac coat go on due to the colour difference but a little more difficult with subsequent white coats and sometimes I oversprayed, however a little dab with a soft paint brush soon sorted it.I also found control better by pressing the trigger in short bursts often made it easier to control and see the coverage. Anyway very pleased and looking to see how the wall sprayer attachment works, I sure won't be wasting as much paint there too!
