Do this fence work in the rain

A bear didn't break into the cabin all summer rain or shine so I guess it worked LOL. I'm very hard of hearing and there are a lot of bears where I mine N/E of Nome. After having one bear push in a window and another try to push in the door while sleeping---decided I needed the fence. Can't prove a negative but no problems this summer. Good luck

We had meth heads steel our campstove, firewood and chairs while were sleeping. Will this work as a deterrent?
