Are these all season tires and are they safe in snow?

Hello, These are All-Season Tires (technically "Grand Touring") and they have good control even in Light Snow. Obviously, in Heavy Snow and on Ice they won't be as good as dedicated Winter Tires, but they will still be better than Summer or Performance Tires. Thank you for your interest.

what is the width of the whitewall?

These are a standard 5/8th wide white wall. They are not the thicker 1" ones like some old school tires have.
