Great for restoring knife handles
Bought this for extremely old walnut handle butcher knives. Needed blade and handle restoration. Instead of replacing handles which were in good condition structurally, decided to try restoring them. Sanded them appropriately and then applied several coats of this product. The way I did it was to put a tablespoon or so into a small glass dish and microwaved it to melt it. Then used a small paint brush to layer on the wax and especially at the joints with the tang. On second and third coats I first heated the excess wax on the handles by way of a small butane torch carefully to only melt the wax and then applied more wax. I did this three days and the next day wiped off excess wax and buffed the handles with a buffer wheel that mounts in an electric drill. Great feel. Not slippery. Sheds water. We'll see how long we can go before next treatment but before and after is almost unbelievable. Will post pix later.

Best out there
Love this. My husband does woodworking for products that are food related and this is a great product to care for your kitchen wood products. Best is there is no rancid smell like some of the products get.

Works great for counters, wood, and hands too
I have soapstone countertops and was using mineral oil. It just didn't give that dark rich color long enough for the work (oil on, wipe off and buff). Plus we were going through it so quickly. Tried this and get the same color as the oil with needing reapplying nearly as often. It's a little more work to get it on, but I use a loth just for he wax blend and just buff it in every couple of weeks, where I wipe it most often, or if I have company coming. As a perk, I noticed my nails are growing beautifully since I started using thus. My cracked hands are soft and never greasy. I used to have chipped and broken nails all the time, and now I have to file them down because they grow so well.

I like Clapham's better
Bought this and the Clapham's Beeswax in the same order as I wasn't sure which one I'd like better. I am using this product on soapstone. The first thing I'll say is that this product goes on very easily. It has the consistency of a soft butter and it smells great. The reason I like the Clapham's product better is primarily for cost. The downside of this product being so easy to apply is that you use a lot of it. I probably used 1/4 of a jar to do my counters once. The Clapham product is a lot thicker and more candlewax-like. Yes, it's harder to apply, but I use very little product to get the same results. I probably won't be buying this product again as the other brand worked better for what I needed it for. The quality otherwise is excellent.

Works great!
Easy to use and works great. Sanded my cutting board and applied it and it's like new. Plus it blocks staining by pomegranate seeds or red beets. Highly recommend!

Love this Product!
Nothing has ever treated my wood bowls and utensils better. One thing I do that’s not recommended is after I apply the wax I let it sit for a day then put into oven on a cookie sheet set to warn for 15 minutes. Helps the was get into the wood deeper with less applications.

Nice texture, no odor, a little goes a long way
Nice texture, no odor, a little goes a long way... and I feel good buying from a USA business.

Love it!
I love this stuff. While I got it for my amish dough bowl, I used it on an expensive cutting board I got a few months ago that has cuts in it from where I use it. While this is typical for any cutting board, I like my things to have as little damage as possible. I rubbed this on with a towel and filled in all the cuts and let it sit for 20 mins. Then I buffed it out with a towel and it gave my board a beautiful new shine and filled in most of the cuts. It literally went from drab to fab!
