Vectra for Cats Flea Treatment & Prevention for Large Cats (Over 9 lbs.) 3-Month Supply

Long story short, we have had a flea infestation for almost 2 years from 2 kittens we took in. Even though we washed them with baby shampoo and combed them out and eventually flea shampoo and flea collars, nothing worked! The fleas kept coming back and they are indoor cats!When they were old enough, I tried so many topical flea treatments and the oral one as well; even the really expensive brand the vet recommended. That worked for a short time but the fleas still came back. I washed and vacuumed everything but i couldn't get rid of them. I saw Vectra a couple mouths ago so I bought it for my 5 cats and my dog. I wasn't expecting it to work but it did! Finally no more scratching and no more getting bit!!

It works! I’ve been using it for a year now, and I no longer have fleas.Although it makes my hair smell funny.No risk of bubonic plague now 🙂

We use this on our indoor/outdoor cat and it seems to work OKThe problem with our cat is that his hair is so short and the amount of treatment is so generous that even applying the Vectra at almost the top of his head causes it to run down the back of his neck to where he can get to the Vectra and possibly lick it.We have taken care of our pets with spot type flea treatments for the past four decades so this is not something new to us, but our cat's non-absorbent fur worries us a bit, so we monitor him closely and try to distract him when it looks like he's going to mess with the application site.This is also the first spot treatment we have used on this kitty as he was a young stray that decided to adopt us this past winter. We want flea treatments that work for him so he doesn't tend to bring fleas in to the house and give them to our other, strictly indoor, cat.I cannot detect any kind of scent or odor from this product, unlike some things we have used in the past.Unlike some other reviewers our package arrived with all the vials intact and perfectly usable.The extended applicator makes the application as easy as it can be.

My cat likes to go outside and got a really bad flea infection once, my vet recommended this product and it killed them all, she’s been great since I started using it… Easy to place, no smell, great value for the money.

Within a few minutes, you can actually SEE the fleas leaving the cat. This product actually does what it says it will do! I have seven cats so, when one gets fleas, they all do - Vectra takes care of it - quick, easy, painless - (except for the vacuuming afterwards) Well worth the price! None if my cats ever had any adverse effects. They sleep better now - and so do I.

This product works as well as prescription ones from the vet. It kills even the most stubborn fleas. 10/10 recommend!

Over the years so have always had great results from this flea medication and have always purchased it from another seller on Amazon however the previous seller was no longer listed and I purchased the medication from this seller The product was totally ineffective I applied it to four of my cats with no effect on the fleas. I have never seen this product perform this poorly. I'm very dissapointed. and sill look for another seller of this item
