Q: my original pole extended to 21' never bent had it over 23 years, pole was was swept away in a hurricane how thick (guage) is the extention pole?

Not sure how thick is the gauge but I believe it’s made of aluminum and it does bend if you put force to it.

Q: Would this pole slide over the pole on a brush and then 2 little white pegs snap into holes on the pole?

The white snaps are made to press in to allowing the brush to lock in place
