I hate using flour or cornstarch to thicken gravy! If you have a strong palate - you can immediately taste the flour or cornstarch and it’s never a pleasing taste especially for Beef Bourguignon!! This is an amazing addition for Beef Bourguignon. It’s perfect and super easy!! Buy 2 jars for a larger batch of stew.

I made from scratch a beef Wellington and didn't want to make a from-scratch wine demi reduction sauce. This was perfect, and would work for meatloaf or steaks as well. Provided the right amount of acidity to balance the richness of the entree. I have used other products frm this brand, but this is perhaps my favorite. It comes the closest to the taste and texture of a homemade sauce made in the classical way.

The best!!! Served both sauces with Beef Wellington. Yummm!

It’s way too expensive for the quantity. Never again.
