I bought this to keep the sides of my mohawk smooth and hairless. It works absolutely perfectly! I've been using it daily. It's easy to clean too! Totally water resistant, so I run it under the tap, then take off the top for it to dry through. Didn't come with a cleaning brush, but you can get some great cheap ones online. Do recommend

Hmm not sure it worked well for my partner, he was quite sick beard, so it was not super clean after shaving. He switched back to his previous product after few times usages sadly...

Shaves well enough but is quite noisy and is a no frills device. There's only a 2 pin plug supplied and this wouldn't fit my shaver socket meaning additional expense for a suitable adapter. Sent it back and ramped up my budget to buy a Phillips s9000.

For the price, good value and decent shave with good cutters/foil. Smooth and no catching.2 year warranty, replacement heads (21b) are £20 each. They recommend to change every 18 months, but who does that?My tip is, if you wash it under the tap after every use, then put a drop of light machine oil on the head. This deffo extends life of the cutters.

So I have never actually bought an electric shaver before in my life, having used a hand-me-down from my father for many years. However the motor in the old girl finally gave out and I decided I better grab a new one for Christmas. I looked through Amazon's offerings and found this one. The price seemed reasonable and the reviews showed four and a half stars, so I decided to order one.Unfortunately I failed to realise that the people leaving those reviews must have been complete and total masochists.It was delivered the next day, I opened the box, charged it until it was full, and proceeded to shave. Now this wasn't the easiest task in the world as I had developed something of a beard since my old shaver gave up the ghost, but I eased its work by shaving off the longer hair with a beard trimmer, leaving it with mostly stubble and hairs that were at most half a centimeter in length.What followed was the equivelant of rubbing sandpaper coated with lemon juice on my face. This thing didn't cut a single hair. What hair it did remove it simply yanked out and to get it to do even that took multiple passes (think 10+ to have it pull out even one hair out)Half an hour later I left the bathroom with untidy stubble and feeling as if I had been repeatedly slapped by only the harshest of dominatrixes. Humorous analogy aside, my face felt sore for the following day and I was red faced, and not out of anger for the poor shave. This thing seriously hurt! Not only that it was all pain no gain, as I arguably looked more scrappy than when I started.I ended up digging out an old disposable razor from the bottom of the drawer to finish the job a couple of days later, as once I'd finished attempting to shave with this hunk of junk, I promptly cleaned it, repackaged it, duct taped the box shut, and sent my return request. As such I can't really comment on if the battery life was good or not or if it was good for travelling. It was easy to hold though, even as my palms were rendered sweaty from the intense pain of using it I didn't lose my grip. So there's that I suppose.Please. If you care about your face or the faces of your hirsuit loved ones, don't buy them this. Only buy this if you want someone with a beard to suffer.
