Love the travel size of my favorite deodorant!

Smells nice and actually works! Hard to find in a healthy deodorant.

This deodorant definitely DOES NOT smell anything like vanilla. When I first opened it and stuck it right up to my nose to smell it, it smelled like something terrible with a background of a fresh scent. I hated it and was going to return it. However, I decided to give it a fair chance. So I applied it, and it was very rough and almost sort of chipped off. But the smell was a lot better once on my body and my boyfriend liked it and said it was a fresh scent. Also, once I broke past the initial dry crust, it, applied smoothly and without issue, like "regular" deodorant. I will probably repurchase this brand it a different scent next time and see if I like that any better. But for now, it works just fine.

The product was very, very small! I previously purchased the larger size of this deodorant from Wholefoods, but the Amazon seller sold me a much smaller version for the same price. This feels like a complete rip-off. The listing should have clearly stated that this is a trial-size or travel-size deodorant, as I would not have paid full price for such a small amount. It’s misleading and unfair to charge customers the same price for significantly less product. Transparency is key when selling items online, and this seller failed to provide that. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing from this seller unless they clarify their product descriptions and pricing.

I have been using this deodorant for traveling for a long time now. I can’t use regular deodorant - must use natural. Lavanilla works as well as the other expensive natural deodorants out there, but the problem is: it falls apart inside the applicator. I’ve had about four of these now (both travel size and regular size at home), and after a few weeks of use, the deodorant falls out of the applicator/doesn’t move up when you move the applicator. It also becomes super hard if you don’t use it within a few weeks - it’s like rock solid and you have to wet it in order to get it to come off on your armpits. It’s a bummer because the deodorant actually works, but for the price, it falls apart and just isn’t worth the money, especially for travel size if you’re not going to use it all within a few weeks before it hardens/dries out and becomes difficult to use.

My sister got me hooked on the Lavanila brand when we were traveling together. I ordered this on Amazon and the size was way smaller than the one she had. Total rip off for what I paid. I switched to Native brand it actually smells better and works just as good and the price is good for the size!

I've been using this (aluminum-free) brand for years now, but I failed to notice this particular item was only the 2-ounce size - Besides that, I was totally pleased.

My favorite and only brand for deodorant since discovering it. Got the minis for my two travel sets.
