Basic, tasty protein and greens powder.
Bang for the buck this is a good protein powder. Not especially thick when stirred but gets the job done and does shut down my hunger pangs in a pinch.

Best vegan protein!
I have been using VEGA protein with greens for a while now. I like the taste and dissolvability of the powder. I started using it because I had trouble with proteins with milk (even though I don't have any lactose issues.) I use it in coffee and to make smoothies and it creates a great vanilla flavor. I love that it contains greens. It does have stevia, which is not my favorite sweetener, but I've gotten used to over the year.

Good vegetarian and non-dairy option
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Not bad. My 11 year old boy will actually drink this. So happy to find a vegetarian protein shake not made with whey. A little aftertaste but not too bad.

Stomach nausea after long term daily use of the chocolate flavored one....caffeine sensitivity.
I love this product, which I blend with almond milk. I have been using it daily for over more than a year. However, recently, I have found I get nausea after drinking it. After some research, I think the cocoa content builds up over time. I am VERY sensitive to caffeine and cocoa contains a small amount: 25mg per serving. I used to mix with a small cup of decaf (2-7mg caffeine). Regular coffee, by comparison is 100-160mg or more per cup.I think the daily use has built up a mild caffeine allergy - it affects the adrenal glands. If I take a break for a day or two, the nausea goes away.Sadly, I will have to switch to a non-chocolate version, and have this just once in a while. Darn it! My chocolate protein and greens 'proffee' (protein powder and coffee) in the morning was the best!Hope this might be useful to anyone else experiencing nausea from prolonged use.

Tasty, but way too much iron
I had some Vega from a few years ago that I started using again recently. I really liked it, so when it ran out I just bought more without looking at the label. I noticed I was constipated after using this for a few days, so I finally looked at the label and I was dismayed to learn how much iron is in this recipe. I wish I had compared the old label to this one to be sure, but I feel pretty confident that there wasn't nearly as much iron in the old recipe. The biggest problem here is that there's so much more of your required daily iron than there is of your required daily protein and calories. Pay no attention to the daily protein value listed (33%). The daily values are merely the MINIMUM intake required to stave off ailments. Those figures aren't what will get you to peak health and performance. Anyone who's active needs way more than 60g of protein each day, (as a moderately active woman in my late thirties, my recommended daily protein intake is 200g) but excessive iron not only causes constipation, the buildup of excessive iron has nowhere to go because you can't just pee it out like a lot of other minerals and nutrients. It starts to crystallize in your joints, causing pain and a grinding sensation. (In my ignorance, I've been through this before.)Vega's website refers to this product as daily nutrition, but as a nutritional aid, this is sorely out of balance.

Taste good, but...
Pros: Non GMO, no sugar but taste good, mixes very easy unlike a lot of pea protein. 2 scoops to make 25 grams of protein. I'd prefer one scoop to make 25 grams that's ok. Not heavy in your stomach unlike other pea proteins. Cons: pricey for what you get, Does not says if it's made in the U.S. or not, I don't like that. And there is no amino acid profile which is essential for muscle gains. Im 50/50 on recommendation given previous statements. Up to you.
