Great Aggressive Mouthing Distraction
I bought this as I was adopting a German Shepherd rescue with some aggressive mouthing and sleeve tugging tendencies when it comes to his idea of play. Aside from some other measures, this pull toy was used to satisfy his urge to grab 'something' or 'someone' when in play mode. And now, he brings me this toy when he wants to play and the grabbing has stopped. The straps broke within the first few minutes but the size of it allows you to firmly hold it in your hand at one end and the dog pulling from the other.If he succeeds in pulling it out of my hand after a reasonable tug of war, he gets a treat . . and I usually let him win. The straps are the only reason it's getting 4 stars not 5 as they could possibly be stronger but large dogs will destroy most materials. It's well worth the money even with broken straps !

FANTASI dog tug toy
I'm giving the tug 5* as it's really good quality, has longevity and is fit for purpose. However, my dog is only interested in tugging the black handles! Very good value bargain for £8.

Good but
Good product but was easily ripped up by my 1 year old lab. They did enjoy it sort time they had it.

Must have for high prey drive dogs
I have a French bulldog. With high prey drive. He's been very hard to train as he's not that into treats. I add some rope to this toy and let him chase it. He will do anything for this toy.The material is brilliant for his teeth. He wasn't that great a biting down on toys. But because of this material it prevents lazy biters from grabbing it with just the k9s and risk losing teeth. That's no longer a problem as it's taught him to bite down properly. I couldn't recommend it enough. The only problem you will have is getting it back off you pup. Enjoy

It's not completely dead yet
Have a young teenage German Shepherd that's been playing with this for months. Both handles have been chewed off, but the main toy (the important bit) is still going strong after many play sessions. Not his favourite toy but a good solid second/third place depending on the day.

Dog liked this but has started to pull it apart. She has had it a couple of months now so this toy has lasted quite well compared to some.
