Why does it cost so much? This is to much for this seasoning .

The actual seller "Rivers Edge" is price gouging the Mesquite Grillmates. I checked the local stores and it's about $2.50 for the 2.5 oz size. If Amazon is listing it for much above that, look for the bulk size which is currently on the order of $17/ 24 oz. Give some to your friends :)
