Don’t buy it if you are doing high detail botanical work or illustrations
The media could not be loaded. If you work with watercolour regularly, you know that good paper is half the success of your painting. I make intricate botanical illustrations and am really struggling with this paper. It is far too roughly textured even for cold pressed, there is some bits of dust that come off of it when you paint (as you can see in the video), water does not spread evenly and generally painting with this paper has been a big struggle. Would not recommend it.

Far too absorbent. Makes fine detail close to impossible. Save your money.

Worst watercolour paper l have ever used , I am about to bin 15 A2 sheets .
I have tested a few of the A2 sheets , and find it impossible to achieve even a simple straight line as the paint simply creeps up and down the texture of, the paper , see photo .
