New purchase, experience is fantastic
I have several different in ear and over ear products used for Music and gaming. Whilst researching my next purchase, I kept coming across the Audeze range, the Planar Magnetic was the tipping point. I can say I have been even more impressed now I am using them. At this price point and the fact you get the Planar Magnetic the reviews match the experience.

Not for console gamers
Do not buy this for console gaming it does not work properly states on their website they cannot overcome the licensing on consoles so basically you do not get max volume,Iphone etc it’s fine. Not for console gamers

Best sound in gaming
These easily sound the best but for me the clamping force was a deal breaker it just caused alot of jaw and ear pain which is a pity as the sound was superb for gaming.

Excellent audio clarity
These are by far the best headphones I have used to date, for the price they should be. Head tracking is something I am not currently using but will do in the future. My major gripe with this headset is that if you leave the USB cable plugged in after turning the headset off it results in the battery being drained to the point the headset will not turn on any more. I have had to, on a number of occasions, factory reset the headphones to get them to charge again.Would I recommend getting these despite this issue, yes. Wholeheartedly yes.

Wow, just wow!
I have many Headphones from JBL to Beat Pro’s, inner ear phones and over the ear, I now have found in my opinion the best quality headphones for the money...I mainly listen to music and on occasions some gameplay. While I was researching online I came across these in many comparisons sites funnily, whilst looking for headsets for my boys and what sold it to me is the Planar Magnetic, which I always wanted to try. All the reviews about this product are spot on. For the price you pay and to have Planar Magnetic and it’s awesome sound quality you will not be disappointed. When listening to live music, you may as well be there with the 3D turned on...I seriously cannot speak highly enough of the quality of these!

Great sound but poor build quality
I’ve loved those headphones until a few weeks ago when part of the headband broke.I’ve used them quite sparingly, mostly for audio or video-calls for work. The headband has several parts that look heat-welded. One of the welding points on one side broke and that made the headphones lopsided and uncomfortable to wear. It’s a shame because the sound is great. But I will not be buying Audeze again.

Not for the PS5
So this is great for PC gamers but not for PS5 owners as the PS5 only sends stereo over usb.I guess Sony want you to buy the Pulse or use a dongle type headphone with their 3d faux sound.Audeze Penrose works this way but again only pretend surround sound.Unfortunately I am not aware of hdmi to USB adapters to get around this issue so I bought the Astro A50. With the easily obtainable hdmi optical splitter you can use USB for chat only and the Dolby hdmi output to the Astro A50.The adapter is a pain made worse by fact you cannot charge the headphone in its base without plugging two usb cables into the Sony and using another adapter because Sony restrict usb output power in standby unless downloading updates.I blame Sony mainly but headphone manufacturers shouldn’t push PS5 use when clearly you only get limited use of what pc users get.The A50 do sound good but only with adapter.
