I bought this for a artist friend who recently set up a small pottery studio. She really liked it and said it was a great source of inspiration.

This is an excellent book both for visual inspiration and technical information to help understand the selected makers techniques. The makers selected cover a wide range of technique & inspiration both historical and contemporary, making this book a useful aide to study or studio practice at any level. The format is straightforward and images excellent, with a comprehensive introduction giving historical context and a good presentation of the technical aspects of ceramics.
