went in easy and works good

Fits in the factory installation location on 1999 Mercedes S500 (W140). Factory wiring works with this unit fine too. Antenna goes up when radio is turn on and down when it's turned off (or you turn off the car).You can hear some motor buzzing sounds quietly in the radio when the antenna is moving.. it's probably not as quiet as the Hirschmann... And the motor tries to go one more click past fully extended or fully retracted, so it might break a gear tooth at some point. Doesn't seem to be adjustable. oh well it's $20 and works otherwise as factory, so a decent buy.

Was easy to install, works great. Goes up and down. Beats buying a mercedes one for an arm and a leg. Looks factory. The grommets fits perfect and there was a ton of them in the package to pick from

Don’t buy this! This was a dud from the beginning. Don’t wait before you test it! Since I waited to long before starting the install, I missed my return window. Took it apart to troubleshoot it, and the carbon pads that are supposed to turn the copper wires inside the motor magnets don’t work at all. It is a useless piece of junk, and the mast doesn’t work in an old Hirschmann either. Horrible quality and requires modification to install and fit.

Is what I expected for the price, works just fine and fit's My MKIV Supra, I just reused my factory adapter for the top and it looks factory. I bought this same one and it lasted 10 years.

Reception isn't that great and it doesn't retract all the way down or it appears it doesn't. If it last a long time I'll be happy..
