The media could not be loaded. Great learning project for toddlers and young kids. I did this with my 4 year old with our homeschool preschool lesson. We had so much fun watching the butterfly lifecycle! All caterpillars turned into butterflies!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 2 years old grandson because one of his favorite books to read is The Very Hungry Caterpillar. He loves to read this book with his parents and whenever I visit. I thought it would be fun and interesting for him to experience how a caterpillar grows into a butterfly. The kit came with 4-5 little caterpillars in a container, food, net, a little journal and instructions on how to take care of them. At first we thought that only 3 of the 5 survived, but it turned out that all 5 survived. Every week when I video chat with him he excitedly shows me his caterpillars and tells me what they're doing and what phase they're in. He's been patiently waiting to see them come out of their cocoon and turn into butterflies. I just love how excited he gets to show me his butterfly farm!

My child loved it overall. Such a good experience. A few caterpillars didn’t make it to the cocoon stage unfortunately. But it was such an engaging activity.

Ordered this for my daughter, it was not what I expected. The butterfly habitat was well beyond expectations. This kit comes with live caterpillars that you get to watch turn into butterflies. This kit isn't a catch and release, it's a grow and release. Extremely amazing!!

AMAZING!!! We ordered the 2-5 cups and instructions were super clear and understandable. The instructions say they guarantee 3 out of 5 and we ended up with 9 butterflies and released them yesterday 🥰

My caterpillars showed up dead. I'm deployed and ordered them for my son for his Easter basket. I was excited and am pretty disappointed now.
