Update: my daughter has been sleeping in her crib for 3 months now and so far this mattress is working out perfectly. She easily sleeps 9-12 hours straight, which tells me that it's comfortable. The mattress has held its shape and feels as firm as the first day. I keep a fitted waterproof sheet and a fleece or cotton fitted sheet over it.--------I bought this mattress because of the breathable fabric material as opposed to the cheaper plastic mattresses out there.This mattress is really HARD and that is my only concern; the foam surface is really inflexible, somewhat like those green foam blocks you use with artificial flowers. I laid on it and did not sink at all, which after all is what is recommended for infants, an even firm surface. I'm keeping it because it looks well made, from the materials to the design.It arrived inside a nice zipper bag in a large box.The mattress is odorless and has square corners, not rounded like most mattresses.The fabric doesn't seem to be waterproof. Unless the underside of the fabric is waterproof-lined, I suggest you use a waterproof pad or protector, which is what I'm planning on. I think a cottony fleece or quilted crib sheet would complement this mattress perfectly.Both baby and toddler sides are identical, which is not a big deal for me as I am not planning on using a toddler bed.This mattress fits perfectly in a standard crib. There are no gaps whatsoever; that was my main concern when looking for a mattress.Overall this is a really nice mattress for the price. I'll have to wait for my baby to arrive and see how well this mattress works out for her.

These are GREAT mattresses! We liked the one we bought for our first daughter so much, we bought another when we had our second daughter. This mattress fits both our crib and toddler bed perfectly, leaving no gap between the bed rails as shown in the photos. I also loved that there was no harsh chemical smell to the mattresses when opened like most other brands out there. You can rest easier at night knowing your children are safe. I also love that one side is firmer for babies and then you can flip it over for a slightly softer side for toddlers. I also appreciate the fact that the mattresses come in nice zippered mattress bags for storage. I highly recommend this product!

Love the matress

It is a good mattress. A bit too hard though. Wish the toddler side was a bit softer. Overall, it is a good one. It adds like 3 inches since my son’s old mattress was very thin. My son sleeps better than he did with his old mattress.

I bought this mattress for my son after a lot of research. I decided that I wanted one with a cover made of natural fibers, that was Greenguard certified, that wasn't waterproof (more on that later), and was less than $100. This mattress rocks all those areas! I didn't want waterproof because I'd read that in the mattresses I could afford, the waterproofing material was potentially toxic plus it can cause sweating and rustle when putting kids to bed which is obviously not something you want when you've just spent an hour trying to get the child asleep. I have opted to use several old bath towels (four layers seems to work pretty well) under the sheet. So far, we've had pee and vomit that soaked through the towels (it used to be 3 layers.) I blot the spot as soon as I find it, wipe with soapy water, blot dry again, and put baking soda on it and let it sit, preferably in the sun, until dry. I then vacuum up the baking soda using the brush attachment and put the bedding back on. This system works great and I've not ever noticed a smell or stain.

Actually did my research. Read a review 2023 from Forbes. This was one of baby mattresses reviewed and the one the author bought herself. I quote, “The mattress I used for my first child and purchased again for the next.” Not a mattress to pass down but that’s not recommended usually anyway. Quality and price plus review sold me and not disappointed.

Came within 3 days of ordering it safe inside both a cardboard box and it’s own sleeve for extra protection. No weird smell and seems super firm. It has a label at the top so you can tell which side is for infants and which side is for toddlers. Fits tightly inside the crib with no gaps. At 39 weeks I had no trouble hauling it upstairs and putting it into the crib by myself.

Fits full size crib perfectly. For my budget this mattress is perfect.
