So sorry to hear about your frozen shoulder!! The supports do not work with bass guitars. The supports work with classical and acoustic guitars. Bass and electric guitars are too narrow. Good luck with your shoulder!

It will fit if sideboard is at least 4inches wide. The distance between the outer edge of the 2 base suction cups is 3.75 inches.

The Tappert works very well where you need a good amount of neck elevation. If you were to sit with your legs flat, back upright and suspend the guitar (mostly the neck angle) where it feels most comfortable, you can then have another person measure how much lift is required to obtain your desired support height. The Tappert elevates 5" to 8.5" from your leg to the upper bout of the guitar where the two suction cups are attached.
