Buy multiple packs for larger projects
Bright colors and easy to apply. Ran out of ink faster than I anticipated. We started running low on some of the colors when we were a little over halfway through coloring the pajama set (size 7-8 for reference). The markers are harder to use when the ink is low because you have to press more firmly and the tip smears a little more. These weren't available for next day shipping, so we had to order a different brand to mix in to complete the project. I wish I had known beforehand to order multiple sets to keep the colors consistent.I do like how this set is a little more "kid friendly" than some others since you have to apply heat to set it in (and there is less chance to ruin the clothes they are working in).Overall, the pajamas still looked super cute once they were done and the colors came out very bright.

Such great, bright markers!
Every year I buy a tie for my kiddos to decorate for their dad for Father’s Day and these markers were perfect to use for decorating! They were vibrant and easy to use. They didn’t smear even with a three year old coloring with them (under supervision). It was easy to read all the cute phrases written all over the tie. The tip was thin enough that the kids were able to make many intricate designs. I would buy these again for any fabric designing crafts I had in the future (though these will last for a long time).

These are the pens if you need color and sentiment
These are the pens if you need color, like if you have that sentimental holiday tablecloth that people draw on each year, or have kids make quilt squares. They are the same size as the Crayola school markers we know in our house as the "fatties" (the others are the "skinnies"). They held up well to 10 washings. There wasn't much difference in my 5 wash and 10 wash samples. They pretty much faded what they were going to after the first washing. For a signature quilt I'd go for Pentel Gel Roller for Fabric but for color I'd use this one.I did pen trials to test different permanent fabric pens. I made three mug rugs, did not wash one, washed one 5 times and the other 10. I gave it the harshest conditions. I did not heat set the ink with my iron and I did not put my samples into the dryer after any of the washings. I also did some scribbling and writing, making signatures, etc on fabric that was not backed, as you would if you were preparing for a signature quilt or making a label to see how each performed when making the marks.

Perhaps my expectations were too high
I used these to write on white fabric dinner napkins. I underestimated how hard it would be to write on fabric with markers and some of the colors were hard to see. The color faded some after washing, but that is to be expected. Overall I wasn't impressed, but like I said, I was probably expecting too much.
