Accurate flush valve for old school toilet
Got this for my old school toilet. The product fits the description and it works well. The other reviewers are not joking when they say this thing is a b***h to install. It took me and my wife 2 hours using big appliers, lube, and an old t-shirt just to get this thing installed. Other than the installation I got no complains about the product.

Fits well on my Kohler San Rafael
Direct replacement on my older Kohler San Rafael toilet. I originally had a problem with a slow leak and found that they gasket on my old flush valve was deteriorating and the plastic was cracked. So I ordered this replacement from Amazon. It was initially hard to install because of the tight fit of the gasket, but I ended up using a wood stick as leverage behind the flush valve when I installed it. Works great now and no more leaking.

Almost perfect, but I ended up having to use part of the old equipment as well.
While trying to install this product, the bar on the back that holds the red rubber flapper came off. So I ended up having to use the black plastic stem from my old flush valve. I found that the chain for the new flapper was shorter than my OE. So, I ended up having to daisy chain the new flapper hook with the old hook and run it to the drain stem (obviously I'm not a plumber, so I hope you understand what I'm talking about) it's the stem that is connected to the flush handle on the outside. Anyways, yeah it seems that this newer version was very cumbersome to install, but when I used the new rubber O ring to the OE flush valve, that made the work much easier. But as I mentioned in the beginning, the red rubber flapper chain will need to be extended slightly or else you could find that the flapper won't close completely and you'll just hear the water running constantly.
