Hi. is this a hard cover to cover up the screen? would it fit 18 x 18? thanks.

It is not hard to cover. Look for plexiglass on line or from a hardware store. This cover will not fit an 18x18. It is for a 12x12.

Is this screen cover heat resistant? Can I place a heating lamp (25w) on it?

The screen is metallic and will resist heat, but the frame is plastic and may warp if there's too much heat. We placed our 40w lamps on hangers so they stay 3-4 inches above the screen.

Will this fit the 12x12x18 exo terra??

Thr prongs on the inside lip did not match my tank. Correct size but not fit

Does this too go on to the 12x12x18?

I don’t think so. It folds out to fit the 36 inch long tank. I have a 40 gallon long breeder tank for my box turtle and it fits that. That’s 18x36. You should look for one specifically for the tank you have.
