It is a good product when it is used quickly after opening that's why I did not give it 1 star. That being said, it is very disappointing when you go to use the stuff later and the cap is broken. Check out the picture. I believe that the manufacturer designs these caps so that they crack and the stuff will go bad so you have to stop what you are doing and have to go buy more. Simply put, it where the interest of the business and the consumer deviate and enough time has gone by since a purchase that people have forgotten or lost interest and the manufacturer wins. It is good business. Well I am sorry, but I want to get my money's worth. That's my good business. I have not even used half of the tube and now I have to cut into the side of it to get below the dried out portion at the top due to the broken cap ensuring now the rest goes bad. Again, it is good business. I am asking Permatex to please give me a cap that is robust enough that I can snug it down enough with my fingers to seal so that it is available for me to use next time. I am not talking about overtightening it. I am talking about snugging it down enough such that I believe I am sealing it for next time. I am not asking the manufacturer to spend even an extra dime to save me from having to delay my project because I have to either use fuel and time to go to the store or have a further delay and order it. Please provide a decent cap with the tube of product you sell me so that I can preserve what I purchased from you so that I can use it next time. Is that too much to ask?
