I have no clue what model it is. But I like it a lot.

When taken apart and folded up the base unit is 24 inches long and the tube with the clutch attached to it is about 20 inches long.

Q: How is spring/action tension adjusted?

I have never had to adjust it. One issue:This is a short high hat stand. We now use it only with a practice stand and bought a full height stand for gigs.

Q: Is this Yammy hi hat an HS 850 model??

No. I believe it is the HS-740A hi-hat stand.
