good quality cable but not happy about the price premium
I like Monster products but gag every time I have to pay an hefty premium for Monster products. The quality of this product is 5 stars and 2 stars for affordability.

Cable works great!!!!!!!Great sound with Dolby Digital Audio really cinematic sound when connected from 3D Blu-ray player to Home theatre system only thing is that sometimes it takes a little while for audio to play but other than that it works great!!!!!!!!

Never buy retail Amazon is the way to go
Needed a cable to run sound from a 3d BluRay player to my surround sound system without using hdmi because my amp although very high quality (Sony ES Series) is three years old and does not have 3d bypass and i needed to run my hdmi hook up from the blu ray player directly into my TV, worked great sound quality as good as HDMI Excellent product, works great, retails for around $40 paid $10 on Amazon a real steal and Monster makes great products.

Sounds I didn't hear before
I recently viewed a DVD I hadn't watched for nearly a year. As I was watching and listening, I could tell that I was hearing more sounds from the sound track that were barely present previously. Using a high quality digital cable has made a tremendous difference in the sound quality over merely using left/right stereo cables from the DVD player to the tuner. All sounds-music, background and foreground-were improved beyond what I would've imagined.

Excellent Quality
I have a Philips tv and wanted to hook up my 7.1 Dolby wireless headphones to them. Well, thanks to Philips I needed to buy an optical audio adapter and this coaxial audio cable to do it. I was worried the complicated network of connections would degrade the quality of the audio but this cable has done real well in taking the audio out of my Philips and transfering it to my Dolby headphones. The wire is also very sturdy and high in build quality.
