Best chicken house!
I've kept chickens for a number of years and have used all sorts of chicken houses. My old wooden house was becoming unsafe for my hens as the walls were coming apart so I looked around for a stronger home for them.I found this one and although it was a little more expensive it is worth every penny! It was super easy to put up. I did it on my own and it took a few hours. It's really easy to collect the eggs and cleaning it is a dream! My hens are all very happy with it and I feel relaxed as I know they are really safe in this house

If the door is open the inside gets soaked ,being plastic the rain sits inside
Made of good quality materials , only big enough for 2 hens .

Good but slightly small
Our three chickens seem happy but four would be squashed. Easy to build, robust and easy to clean. The door can stick sometimes if straw or sawdust gets in it.

Brilliant chicken house
This is my second one. As we had already put one together before it was a lot easier. It took two people and about an hour. Some of the bits are a bit fiddle but the chickens like them and easy to clean out.

Sticking to my usual brand..
The media could not be loaded. Due to our usual brand not being available, I thought I would pay the extra £65 to have a main brand plastic coop.Within 10 minutes I wish I had waited until the others were back in stock. The instructions were easy enough to read, but the elements were much more than my usual. I started on the door panel & found the smaller screws were designated for the air vents (which were still too long for the vents to be secure, they just swing right back down to open again as the screw cannot hold the heavy 'closed' half upwards) & the longer screws were far too long for the door frame sections. I wasn't sure it would be too much of an issue, but that would be incorrect. The door panel & vent panel completed, albeit badly, I moved onto securing the panels together.Ooh Pi clips, what a novelty, I thought at first. Then I tried to secure them. These were obviously made by someone who takes pleasure in other people's pain, think a sadomasachist Master inflicting pain upon your finger tips & nails with no hint of when it will end. My fingers are still sore & I constructed this bane of my life on Weds (fast p&p I was very impressed that it arrived next day & we are in Scotland, so points for that!)Anyway, probably best to have a 2nd person to help with putting the panels together, the plastic is a wee bit flexible, so it is best to be braced while you grab & secure the next panel. I got to securing the door panel to the vented side. This is where the longer screws became a huge issue. The screws are in the way during the securing of both these sides, which has jammed against the closest vent. Which means the front wall doesn't fit securely over the hole for the bloody Pi clip. So its now not really as safe as i had hoped. I broke nails, the skin on the tip of my Peter pointer & my will to live. The air definitely turned blue at this point & I was being stared at in interest by a few of my hens. I looked at the metal door, which looks like a guillotine. The pin goes through the door hole which has a straight drilled hole through it. I looked at the rounded metal 'keyring' & thought back to the lessons of school, square peg, round hole, rounded piece of metal, straight drilled hole, chocolate & chips plus other things that arent designed to go together etc.. suffice to say the door is now very much a guillotine waiting to happen as I couldn't for the life of me secure that bloody keyring into the drilled hole, french ancestors of old would be rubbing their hands together in glee at this new way of providing chicken for their banquet table! I just hope the string provided holds. After all of the effort, cuts, swearing & throwing of items, it was constructed & immediately crowned the worst thing I've ever made & I was once sent a TV cabinet that had all the holes drilled off centre so the shelf area would've been way out if I hadn't had a drill & a ton of patience.Oh & as an aside, If you go to the effort of making & selling a plastic coop, why would you add a wooden perch?! The other brand I usually use has 2 plastic perches of the same dimensions as yours.I would advise using the circular snap clips to secure everything. Yes they really hurt if they spring back but the pain is quick & fleeting in comparison to the Pi clips. [Top tip use one of the weird L shaped roof brackets to push the Pi clips into place. It'll save your fingers]Looking at the final product isn't really satisfying & makes my fingers hurt to be honest. Pics of the issues & final product. Note pics may not be terribly good as my fingers were well & truly wrecked by this point & the hens were impatient to get in & wreck the bedding I had loving placed in the 2 areas. The 2 stars were for the swift P&P and starters efforts at being an eco provider.

Good Quality hen house
The house went together fairly easily, although the instruction book looks quite daunting! A strong pair of hands came in useful to attach the ring on the door. As yet we have not had any rain, but I am confident that it should be waterproof, the house has remained cool despite temperatures of thirty degrees. One point to note, it has no windows this is good as the chickens settle quickly, however if your chickens put themselves to bed it is hard to count them in the house, or to easily see what a chicken is doing if it is in the house during the day and you just want to take a peek! The house can be lifted by two people. I have given the house 5 stars for now, but will change if it does leak when we do have some rain.
