It depends where you would use the radio. Planet radio is on DAB and not on all regions in the UK.

Can you listen to music without headphones?

The only way that you could use this without headphones is to connect it to a speaker or auxiliary input via a 3.5 audio cable.

Does this radio come with a charger & cable

No charger supplied, but yes there is a USB cable. I use a plug in USB adapter to charge several mobile devices, easily sourced on Amazon for less than a tenner.
