DANCO Decorative Metal Tub Spout Remodeling Cover Ring, Chrome, 1-1/2-Inch ID and 3-5/8-Inch OD (10007)

I expected the ring itself to be a thicker material but not really an issue.Item is not as shown. Inner hole is much smaller and the foam lining is white and seems like plain styrofoam. I question whether it's waterproof, or whether it will eventually rot. As well it sits flush with the ring when installed so forget about getting a proper seal at the wall without caulking if you have a tiled wall.Danco, considering you DO sell real rubber gaskets why didn't you include one with this ring???Also, upon removal of the foam (it falls out), the edge of the inner hole where it fits over the pipe is a jagged (sharp).Buyer beware, you get what you pay for with this item.

Exactly what I needed. I replaced the tube diverter spout but there was a gap between the wall and the spout. Used this, looks much better and did the trick.

Needed an extra 1/4" as a spacer between wall and faucet. This worked perfectly, required no adjustment and no tools. Very easy, brief faucet fix.

The brushed nickel is very good quality and matches my Moen spout. Ring comes with foam gasket. The foam hole is smaller on purpose to stretch over your copper pipe and create a seal.

Never had one on original installation, had I know what a difference it made would have put one on earlier.
