Good sound quality
I used these to upgrade the speakers in my jeep. Overall they are much better than the factory “premium” speakers. They have an overwhelming amount of base and very high treble but need to be adjusted up more for mid ranges. It make take a while to get a good EQ but they are worth the price and not that hard to install.

Single Cab Chevy
These KAPPA 603s are worth the price tag! WOW are the tweeters loud! Sometimes too loud if I am being honest. I have these paired up with a Pioneer GM-DX874 and it brings these things alive. I've had them for almost 2 weeks and they've broken in beautifully. I had them without a sub for about a week and they can handle the lows pretty well. However, I have my HPF set to about 120hz -12db with my subs LPF set to 80hz and these KAPPAs play really well.

These speakers are legit.
Kappa's are always good. They really sing with 100 watts. Clean and loud. 5 stars for infinity and 5 stars for the seller's sale price being better than crutchfield and my local shop.

Great speakers
It's been only 2 days since the install, but having tweeters mounted at/near ear level is great and better than the OE stock. I don't know/think these Kappas are as good as my Morel 602 Ultra MKII (amplified), but the SQ is really good just with the head unit. Definitely would recommend on a budget or wanting to upgrade beyond OE.

Side by side, regarding material, build and sound. They are not worth the money.
After installing this component system, one tweeter did not work right out of the box. As far as the door speakers are concerned, the sound quality and crossover ability are no better than a no-name Chinese white label brand for $45.

Nice components but...it will not sound good out of the box.
The problem is the tweeter being excellant overpowers the bass driver. The crossover supplied does not balance the level. The bass driver DOES NOT balance with the tweeter in any way. The tweeter is harsh at low frequencies and the bass unit has bad resonances at midrange frequencies, therefore to make this sound good you HAVE to have a midrange driver and you HAVE to have a way to balance the levels between the drivers. That being said, IF you use a dedicated amp and electronic crossover for each component it will sound excellant.
