Great purchase!!
Love it! Adds just the right heat. Bought it gif homemade chicken bites but great with homemade onion rings also. HIGHLY recommended!

Great tasting.
The tase is very good but be careful, use sparingly, it packs a punch. I love hot spices jalapeño is ok but not very hot and the taste is good, but the Habanero is much better. If you want a hot spice powder that tastes very good, I think you will like it.

Adds heat without changing the flavor of the food
I love this stuff. I add it to foods when I want to add some heat, but I don't want to change the overall flavor profile.

Bringing the heat
If you want to bring the heat, but you are not up to ghost pepper or reapers, this is perfect. This packs a punch and a little goes a long way. If you like the heat, this habanero powder is about twice as hot as cayenne, and it builds heat nicely as you eat more. My recipe called for 1/4 tsp of cayenne, and so I used a little more than 1/2 tsp (maybe even 3/4) to get the punch I wanted. If you are using this product to season leftovers be careful.

Good!
This powder has a nice flavor and I think it dispenses easily for me at least. Just not as hot as I expected. Very tolerable for me. Will try something hotter next time

Hot and spicy
Excellent product. Takes a small amount to flavor.

This is the spice you are looking for.
Fantastic spice. I use it in soup, on pizza, pastas, popcorn. Sometimes I add it to Asian dishes. I even made some spicy cookies using this powder. Its pretty powerful stuff, but not too powerful you won't know how much to add. You really only need a few shakes to spice up most dishes and just add a bit more for that extra kick.

Tasty, but...
It's habanero - of course it's delicious. I like this company - I've bought from them directly, in the past. I understand this is "powder," but whereas it's a ground pepper, in a pepper shaker, it's too finely ground to dispense properly. I figured it would be, by the product photo, but I have an older (and larger) container of Sonoran's jolokia powder and it's much more user friendly - the grind is about as coarse as everyday black pepper - much easier to dispense.I bought the 1.5 oz vs a larger quantity, to sample. Quite pricey - factor in shipping, it's over $6/oz. Yikes. Also, not terribly hot, so I need to load it on, which also speaks for the value/price.All that said, I likely will purchase again, in a larger quantity. But, this review stands - for this particular item.(posting pic of jolokia and habanero powders - both from the same company, but ground very differently)
