Mousepad arrived slightly bowed. Was able to gently bend it flat. The surface is rigid, not flexible which I like. The cushion is firm and supportive, with just the right amount of squish. The bottom of the pad has a rubber grip, so it does not slip. The fabric material of the pad is wrapped around the side edges and tucked under the rubber grip.
