Wheelie good buy
An easy and relatively simple replacement of some tired wheelchair tyres. As previously mentioned in another review, I tapped out two of the old bearings to use on the new wheels. The brakes had to be adjusted but that was also an easy job.

Complete wheel and solid tyre very easy to fit
The wheels came with solid tyres and was easy to fit using the original securing shaft and nuts.

Size if larger than specified.
Overall I am pleased with these wheels which arrived earlier than specified and were well packed. I now a have a fully functioning wheelchair again. However the wheels are actually marked as 12 1/2 inches rather than the 12 inches specified in the listing and on the original ones on my Days wheelchair which necessitated an adjustment of the brake lever to stop the brakes binding on the slightly larger wheel. Also the bearings are closer together in the hub and meaning the retaining thread on the spindle could not be tightened fully. I managed to extract a pair of bearings from the old wheel to act as spacers but thick washers under the outer nut would be do.
