Q: Does this product work in Egypt Mobile Networks ?

What band does Egypt mobile networks operate on? Pretty sure this is a North America model, but as per the site it supports LTE-A: B1-B5, B7, B8, B12, B13, B20, B25, B26, B29, B30, B41

Q: My lenovo p71, windows 10 64k xeon, came "modem updatable." will this provide the modem? who installs? (6 calls/contacts to lenovo no info)

My lenovo p50, windows 10 64bit xeon works fine with this modem. There were resources about the compatibility by the model over internet (Lenovo forum?). I'm not sure about the compatibility of this modem with p71.

seems to work great.

My thinkpad did not come with the wwan antennas installed. I was able to get the part from IBM for around 30. Installed everything myself, seems to work great.

Shady Advertising - THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH THINKPAD

This was advertised as for the "lenovo" "thinkpad" but is not on the whitelist so without doing a bunch of hacking around and voiding warranties you cannot use this nic on your thinkpad. Maybe this will work fine with other machines.

Doesn't work on Lenovo T450

Although I am sure this will work on other Lenovo laptops it fails to boot on a Thinkpad T450. The posting didn't mention which laptops it works on. Perhaps in the future that can be added. The bios reports an unrecognized network adapter and requests its removal from the system. This module doesn't have a Lenovo FRU PN number on it but on the Lenovo site this model EM7455 has a FRU 00JT542. I took a chance because it was advertised as a Lenovo item. More research on the Lenovo website & maintenance service guide indicates that the correct item is FRU 04X6014 Model EM7345. For anyone reading this the EM7455 is compatible with ThinkPad T460, T460s, T460p, T560, X260, X1 Carbon, L460, P50, P70. I am returning this one and I ordered the another one and we shall see.

Just buy Dell.

It is a joke. Does not work with X1 Yoga laptops. It should work but it doesn't. Bought 20 of them with 20 laptops and none of them worked,

This Does Not Work in P51 Model 20HH

Lenovo has a whitelist for WWAN cards in the P51. What this means is that if you purchase this card rather than the official Lenovo FRU part the BIOS will refuse to boot. Do not buy this if you don't know exactly what you're doing. It is not an official replacement part, contrary to how it is listed.
