Q: is this a vet recommended food source for hamster. By which I mean is it healthy

I think this food fits all of the macronutrients you would want. But that only works if your hamster eats everything and is not choosy. Many vets recommend fortified pellets as that makes sure the diet is complete, nothing to choose. These are the parts of this mix that my hamster actually eats so it all works out. Be sure to look online for advice on fresh food you should give to your hamster as well, bits of fruit, greens, sprouts, etc.

Hamster Loves it !!!

Hamster has eaten all ingredients and left nothing !!!The issue I was having with others is the left over waist of filler seeds and small pieces of just stuff he wouldn’t eat !!! He loves this one !!!

I like the variety of things. My hamster refuses to eat the "healthy pellets" so these mixes are great. She gets to forage for the bits she wants.

Hamster loves it!

Our little nugget loves this food and buries it in his palace and is good for days. Just because the food disappears does not mean its all gone! Our family has a blessing and a sometimes curse of keeping little pets alive wellpast their life expectancy!!

My hamster Nibbles is very fond of this food. PLUS, no bugs or worms in it! Yay!

The best part ... NO WORMS or bugs! Nibbles, our fluffy Teddy Bear hamster is loving it! She grabbed a big peanut (in the shell) and went to town on that delectable treat. This has a lot more fancy ingredients than your standard fare.WHAT A RELIEF! This brand is quality made and not infested (that I can tell). I always store hamster food in scrubbed clean glass containers with tight snap on lids. I have learned my lesson after we had issues in the past. So far so good on this brand by Hazel brand! Wooo whooo!I was reading reviews on the hamster food brand that we had before (that had WORMS IN IT!) and another brand I had to return to the pet store because some nasty bugs hatched that fly around (strange moth like insects). SO GROSS ... the food had "web like" sticky clumps and sure enough, I looked carefully and some cream colored tiny worms at the bottom (which I'm sure will eventually cocoon themselves and hatch into moth grossness)Be care of what you buy. If it's super cheap, there's a reason. This one is a better quality and you definitely get what you pay for when it comes to pet food.

Loved it!

My dwarf hammies loved this stuff! I bought a bag of the haze and a bag of the harry. A bit pricey, though. It is worth it, and it is a good variety for my hammies!

Freeze bag before use!!!

Hamster loves it, but found lots and lots of black tiny bugs in it. Should definitely freeze the food for a couple of days before usage.
