This has completely eliminated my snoring
I've snored incredibly loud since I was a kid and don't have an identifiable or reversible cause of my snoring. My snoring is so loud that I'm not able to sleep in the same room as my partner, even when he uses ear plugs. I've tried nasal strips, mouth guards and some other device that you insert into the nose, all with no success. According to my partner, this 100% eliminates my snoring. It was quite uncomfortable for the first few nights but after some adjustments, it's really not that bad. I'm not thrilled about having to wear this mask forever but I'll take it if I can sleep in the same bed as my partner.

I wanted to like it
Nice concept but way overpriced for what you get. The headgear is low quality and fibers end up in the mask. Velcro is very strong and impossible to adjust while wearing. The proprietary valve adjustment is awkward and the valve is very noisy. The cushions/pillows are hard to install, come off too easy, and are low quality as compared to the big brand cpap masks. The medium appeared discolored out of the box! The pillows are not soft enough and none of the sizes allowed for proper airflow. The only plus is that the pressure on exhale was good and adjustable.

Trying it out
So far it's okay but I have not noticed any improvement in my daytime tiredness. Part of the problem is finding decent mouth tape, because if my mouth slides open then this device won't do any good. I'm still searching. Almost all of the tapes I've tried are either too weak, or way too strong and difficult to remove. The 3 sizes of nasal pillows that came with this EPAP are all uncomfortably large for my tiny nostrils. I bought Resmed Swift FX nasal pillows in a size extra small, and attached that to this EPAP. It fits perfectly. I don't mind the breathing sounds with this EPAP because I always sleep with relaxing sounds on in my bedroom anyway. The straps are very difficult to adjust but hey, I'm grateful to have an alternative option to the CPAP machines; those things are terrible. I will update if I see improvement, after finding good quality mouth tape 👍

Waste of money. Ineffective.
Waste of money. Ineffective. Does nothing. Have to sleep with mouth closed to work. But if you’re used to a cpap machine pushing air into your nostrils you’ll have to breathe extra hard to get air in your nose with these plugs. Plus they whirl and whistle making noise while breathing thru nose. So I returned it to Amazon and got my money back. Don’t waste your money trying it

Pillows
It is not a smooth fit like my CPAP machine.

Amazing
Wearing this has completely stopped my snoring and I am better rested whenever I wear it. It takes some adjustment to make it feel comfortable, and it's important to select the right size nose piece, but it's not a big hassle and it has really improved my quality of life.I have mild sleep apnea and I really didn't want to start wearing a cpap. Unfortunately I snore terribly and my boyfriend has insomnia, which is a bad combination. I had purchased some Thera-Vent strips a few years ago but never used them, and finally gave them a shot. They worked, but then I found that they are no longer manufactured. Doing some research, I found the Optipillows seem to function the same way the Thera-Vent strips did (easy to inhale through the nose, tough to exhale.) My ENT had never heard of them but when I discussed it with him he said the principle was sound and was fine with me using it.This has really improved my quality of life. It's easy to clean, extremely portable, relatively comfortable (as far as things you strap around your face can be) and most importantly, effective. It may not work for everyone, but I highly suggest you give it a shot.

Inadequate instructions
This product comes with instructions that are ridiculously hard to understand. The flyer has photos that are so dark and so small, it is impossible to figure out how to put it on. I tried one way. Then another way. It takes a lot of futzing to figure out how to put it on and then, it is very difficult to adjust. Of course, it is supposed to slow the exhale but I am having difficulty inhaling.

Great for travel
I frequently travel internationally and use my Resmed AirMini when on the road (my home unit is a Resmed AirSense 10). In the past, I used a Medistrom Pilot-24 Lite battery back-up, but that died recently (way too soon for the cost of the thing by the way). So I was looking for a cheaper, lighter alternative for CPAP back-up. My first thought was to go back to Theravents which I had used early-on, prior to my sleep apnea diagnosis. Unfortunately, I discovered that product was no longer available. But, in researching other options, I noticed references to the Optipillows EPAP Mask. Intrigued, I checked it out and eventually decided to purchase.I have now used the EPAP mask on several trips and have been impressed. After receiving it, I tried it out a night or two at home to confirm that it worked and then set out on a trip to Nigeria. Determined to really try it out, I chose not to take along my AirMini so I would have no choice but to use the EPAP. It did take some trial and error to settle on the large nasal pillow, but once I figured that out, I was good to go. Comfort wise, I definitely prefer my CPAP machines, so the EPAP is not a replacement for those, but it is excellent as a light back-up option.Additionally, I have begun carrying it with me on long flights and wearing it, along with my Bucky eyeshades, to help me sleep better. it has been wonderful to no longer be snorting myself awake and then feeling sheepish, not knowing how badly I've been snoring and potentially bothering my neighbors. I wasn't expecting the in-flight benefit, but am super pleased since I love to breathe when I'm sleeping and now I can do that on flights.
