A Visually Engaging and Practical Tool for Language Learners
The book is well-organized, with categories covering everyday themes such as food, travel, school, health, and the home. Each page includes clear, full-color illustrations alongside both the English words and their simplified Chinese translations (with pinyin), which is especially helpful for beginners or visual learners. The quality of the printing is excellent—the images are sharp and engaging, and the paper is thick and durable. It feels like a book that can withstand regular use, whether in a classroom or at home. What I particularly like is how intuitive it is to use. The layout makes it easy to browse and quickly find vocabulary grouped by context. It’s suitable for both children and adults who are beginning to learn either English or Chinese.Overall, this dictionary is not just educational but also fun to explore. It’s an excellent supplementary tool for building everyday vocabulary in a way that’s easy to remember and visually stimulating.Highly recommended for bilingual households, students, or anyone beginning their journey into Chinese or English language learning.

In traditional Chinese not simplified
Great product very. It was well worth the money. However, while I believe this book was meant for Chinese speakers learning English I tend to use it for purpose of learning Chinese. One big down side to this book is that all the words are in traditional Chinese and not simplified Chinese. Of course there are ways around this but it’s USF happens to be a little tedious .

Great resource for learning English - somewhat adaptable for learning Chinese, but know what you are getting.
This dictionary is geared a bit more for those who are native Chinese speakers who want to learn English. It can be used by English speakers learning Chinese, but there are 2 minor obstacles:1. There's no pinyin - so you never know who to pronounce the Chinese words2. It's using traditional characters (so it may not help if u are visiting mainland China)The sample they showed doesn't help until you buy it since it was generic and didn't include any Chinese. I've included a photo shot to explain what I mean.I'll still keep it, but I wish ahead of time what I was getting.

Great resource for Vietnamese ESL learners
This dictionary has a great amount of words and terms that are used in day-to-day conversation. The illustrations are also very colorful and detailed. I got this to replace an aging 1st edition, and I can happily say that the 3rd edition is pretty much better in every way.

This is the book they all love and find so useful. Absolutely what I love to give to those not yet an advanced English student yet. Even the advanced students love this book too.
