Deco 79 Metal Decorative Jars with Lids, Set of 3 12", 9", 8"H, Gray

This set is a great decor item but it cannot be used for food items, so for decoration only.

I absolutely LOVE this canister set. Received it over the weekend, and it goes perfectly in my industrial chic kitchen. The large container holds most of a 10# bag of flour which is great as I own a dog treat business and bake every week. They have a bit of a smell to them, but I washed them well and allowed them to air dry. The lids fit on tightly which is also fantastic, and I lined them with thick plastic, folded over the top and secured with a heavy-duty rubber band, so any remaining smell isn't going to transfer to my flour or sugar. This was more a "just in case". VERY happy with my purchase. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. (As seen in pic, I've added the chalk label stickers. They did not come with the set)

They look just like they do in the listing but the lids fit so tightly they are a pain for daily use. Plus one of them is slightly out of round making it all that must harder to close. I’m keeping them but I grumble a little every time I use them.

Based on the good reviews, i got these for bathroom storage of items I use everyday. They fit lotion bottles, etc. and I had a hard time finding something the right size. The problem is that the lids do not function smoothly. You have to pull with all your might to get them off and then you need to twist, turn, turn and push to get them back on. I don't think I have the patience or time to do this on a regular basis. The rustic nature makes these for mostly looks in my mind. I got an email from the seller asking if everything was ok but when I made inquiry to see if they had a set that is better, i got what looks like a standard response that Amazon filled my order and that I should contact them. Hmmm.

I absolutely love these! It’s so gorgeous.. unfortunately it was missing a lid for the middle canister.. I immediately contacted customer service..they were awesome and are sending me a new replacement set.. I only gave 3 stars because I hate ordering and receiving things that don’t come as they are supposed too. But I do actually highly recommend it. If your lucky, you’ll get the set with nothing missing lol.
