Measuring the distances from the outside edges of the rubber feet, when initially assembled, the total width for the front legs was about 14-1/2 inches and for the rear legs about 15-1/2 inches. I then unfastened one set of legs, rotated them 180 degrees, refastened them, and the front width was 14-7/8 inches and rear legs 15-1/4 inches. These measurements were taken with the chair set to its middle height. When the chair is set to its lowest height, the widths decrease about ½ inch; and when set to its greatest height, the widths increase about ½ inch. In other words, the 15-1/4 inch measurement at mid-height becomes 14-3/4 inches with the chair at its lowest height and 15-3/4 inches with the chair at its greatest height.
