Packed up within 6 month
What a load of garbage! I bought this thing in January, and it already can't even read an SD card after just 6 months? And to top it off, customer service is useless with their lackluster response. What a waste of time and money!

Has everything you need for plugins. Looks exactly like my space grey
I like quality goods, and this component is no exception. The design and fit and finish is as high quality as my Macbook itself. The color is perfectly matching and this has all the plugins you will need. I also prefer this attachment because plugs directly into my Mac. The other option of having a cord which connects into the Mac flops around and is not good for me. The last thing I need is another cable. anyway, this is a high quality attachment for all your basic needs. I have only one very small concern is that it gets really warm and wonder if it will cause problems down the road. I have had this attachment for several months now and use it for at least 8-10 hours a day, 5 days a week. Well worth the money.

Great in daily use so far, but quite spendy considering alternatives
Satechi Pro Hub Max Adapter: $99.99 at the time of reviewI have been using Macs at work for a while now but I just recently upgraded to a MacBook Pro 14” from a 13”. The main difference here (as far as this dock is concerned) is that the 14” has the new MagSafe 3 power slot. My old Anker dock for my 13” didn’t fit without blocking this port. So I set out to find a dock that didn’t block it.*What I liked*:There is a great range of connectivity on this dock from Satechi including a 1Gb ethernet port (something that isn’t common to side-mount docks like this). It is more than enough for my needs. The 100W power passthrough is clutch if you’re not using the Mag Safe to provide power (though one of the points of this dock is that you *can* use the MagSafe 3 with it). There is a little plastic 3.5mm dongle that flips out to provide extra stability when plugging into the new 14” & 16” models.Despite near constant use, it doesn’t get particularly warm, even in periods of heavy power draw from the laptop.*What I didn't like*:The first and biggest complaint that I have about this dock is that, at $100, it is nearly 50% more than other similar docks. Some may not have ethernet and others still may block the MagSafe port, but those are acceptable flaws to save $30-$40.Another thing that is a little weird to me is that this dock replicates most of the ports that Apple put *back* on the new 14” & 16” models of MacBook Pro. For me it’s about leaving the cables at my desk plugged into one thing (the dock). But it’s not like SD card, HDMI, and Thunderbolt ports are selling points on this any more.*The Bottom Line:*Despite my nitpicks above on price and repeated featureset, this is a very competent dock. I’ve been using it as a daily driver on my work Laptop for the better part of a month now and I’ve had no trouble with it. Due to the high price, I can’t give this top marks. But I feel comfortable at a solid four stars out of five. Not only would I order it again, I’ve started sending it out (I’m in charge of equipment ordering for my company) as the de facto dock for employees with MagSafe 3 MacBook Pros.

Does everything you could expect of an Apple compatible dock
In particular, there’s no additional cables. That might be a small thing to mention but those are often the first to fail, and then your beloved dock is pretty much unusable.Uplink ports might maybe profit from being movable so that the dock isn’t too tightly bound to particular MacBooks. But that aside, being able to connect a MB to wired networks alone is more than worth the investment alone. Those connections usually do not drop mid-transfer.I’m not sure about connecting via both TB ports of a MacBook even though that’s kind of required for mechanical stability… but it still seems a waste. Maybe a strong enough magnet would suffice to hold the dock in place?Either way, this dock is pretty much a necessity for anyone with a MacBook who (also) wants to use it stationary.
