I used to have some older Contigo bottles for my kids, but I grew concerned about the possibility of mold building up in areas that were inaccessible for cleaning. We’ve been using the six new bottles I purchased daily, and so far, there have been no problems. I was initially worried about the small, somewhat flimsy-looking springs, but after 4–6 weeks of regular use, they’ve held up well. I’m especially glad that every part of the lid is accessible for cleaning, and I no longer have any concerns about mold with these bottles.
