I would expect that you can use it in a car/truck calling for a 10w30. The API rating is the requirement threshold. This product meets the ‘SN’ standards. If your vehicle recommends SN or less... you’ll be fine. The API ratings started with SA, then SB, and so on... FYI, Honda sales motor oil for vehicles too.
