Excellent performance!
Great product that you have to understand how to update before its use. After all your system has been updated, then you can enjoy it. The only thing that that I don’t like it’s the battery life. As for the rest it’s an excellent product.

Great for gaming
I’ve had this laptop for about 3 months now. I game on it pretty regularly. Always get high frame rates on high settings. So no complaint there. Yes it gets really hot while gaming around 82 degrees Celsius for the gpu. What I like about it is it pretty much stops using cpu and only uses the gpu while gaming. The charger does get hot but I have no need to touch it unless I’m just moving it around to get it out of the way. I’ve always wanted and Alienware and I’m 100% happy with what I bought and wouldn’t trade it for anything

DON'T BUY - no audio
*UPDATE: The computer now won't even start. Just sent it back to Dell to have it repaired. There is 0 chance I'll get my money back. Under the warranty they will just keep "repairing" it, but I have no hopes that it ever will work properly. I'll update if it starts to work or Dell decides to allow me to return it so I can buy a proper machine._This laptop works pretty well if you need to do relatively robust video processing. I say relatively. That said, I was on a Zoom meeting and it crashed, so there's that. The battery life isn't great, either. But I bought it to travel with and do video editing. The main problem is that the audio just does not work properly. I've never experienced anything like this. It sounds like the audio is being processed through the blades of a helicopter. Until recently, this has only been a problem on the speakers of the laptop. Now, it happens with headphones, too (though in this case the audio just doesn't come out). Who needs audio anyway? If you're deaf, this is a pretty good laptop (in all seriousness). If you want to hear things coming out of the computer, get a different device and save yourself getting bent over the barrel for it.

A King with some flaws but still a king
This Big boy can easily be considered a King of the gaming laptop world. It's large 17" screen, hefty build structure, solid presence and powerful capability is what i wanted from an expensive gaming laptop and it delivers in those criteria sI got the NVIDIA 3070ti version with 16GB RAM which is plenty of power for modern day gaming. It's built like a tank so if you are looking for thin and easy this might not be it but if you want a proper and big screen to game and what not this is it

Its not perfect but I still think it can do anything
This thing is a beast. I've got a number of other computers I use for different purposes and one dedicated to gaming but I've never been able to just crank the settings and get away with it before this one. While I'm not playing games as much as I used to it's nice to know it can handle whatever I throw at it. You keep full framerates and everything just looks gorgeous. Yes; it plays Crysis. Somehow I glossed right over this being only 1080p but even on a 17" screen I didn't find myself wanting any more pixels. If you're watching a movie on it with friends everyone will be able to see with perfect viewing angles everywhere. Physically it is a 17" and there's no getting around that however I was surprised how "thin" it really is vs what I was expecting from pictures. 7 lbs isn't too bad at all when carrying it. No flex in the body and I like the soft-touch plastic that makes up the palm area. Most of what I use it for needs everything besides the graphics card and it shines there too. 5.7k 360 video editing isn't a problem when the drive reads everything super fast and I can instantly scrub around the timeline. It really makes a workflow better when things just happen instantly. That's true across the whole experience. Windows 11 is great on here with windows opening instantly and this pairs well with the 360Hz screen with absolutely everything being buttery smooth. For the fun of it I tried VMWare with an ubuntu desktop and was happy to see it had the power to have no issue letting me watch up to 1440p video in there too. I'm not being facetious when I say everything about the performance is everything I'd want. The only thing that irks me a little is having all the IO on the back. If you do need to plug something in it is very well lit back there but that fact that I have to go to the back at all gets to my lazy self. Good amount of IO for a laptop though. Also the power brick is massive. I do get that this thing is sucking down some juice so it makes sense. Battery life is... well it's ok. If you're using this much power gaming don't expect it to last much beyond 4-5 hours if you're hard on it. Even then if you're putting in 4-5 hours of gaming it seems reasonable that you'd have access to a plug anyway. Lastly I'll mention the sound. I was expecting the usual tinny speakers from this. I was dead wrong. You get a surprisingly full sound that even includes some base. It's no replacement for external setups but it caught me off guard how good it was when I first tried out some videos. It's a steep purchase so of course everyone will have different ideas value-wise but what I can say is that it effortlessly handled everything I threw at it without becoming a jet-fan. I think anyone would be happy with it. Not a lot to show picture wise that you wouldn't already see in the product info but I included one showing the no-bad-viewing-angle.

Finally got a good gaming laptop
I have been looking for an excellent gaming laptop that can handle my games without lag or crashing. I have been running a productivity laptop for years, so it was nice to see a computer run my games with little difficulty.
