I purchased this antenna twice, first for my mobile setup and twice for a small home base setup as a learn the ropes of radio. Unfortunately the second one I purchased doesn’t seem to work at all. I connected it to my home base and mobile setups and couldn’t get a signal from any of my set frequencies that I typically use to chat locally.

I purchased this antenna mainly for 220 mhz. It shows swr less than 1.5:1 on 144, 220, and 440 mhz. It has exceeded my expectations on all bands.It's a good idea to coat the set screws and fasteners with a 'never seize' compound to make adjustments and disassembly possible later. Dont over torque them or they might strip. The screws are not the best quality and that is my only complaint. The mount comes with adhesive pads to protect vehicle surfaces.I just ordered another one for my work truck.

However, not for my Toyota Truck. The space required isn't available along with the fact it would be very unattractive and most difficult to go through a Car Wash.....
