Works great
The product is really really great. Make sure u spread it very good and evenly on your hair though. I used my hands and it stained my hands lol but it came off after a decent scrub.. same with on my face from getting my roots.I will warn to definitely make sure it’s even. It comes on very dark and sticks fast. I noticed I got my root area very well and not so much the middle parts so it looked slightly uneven. I had to wash my root area about 3x to get it to fade a bit. I left it on for a bout 10 minutes and applied to wet hair after I washed it.It’s definitely a copper color but like I said, if you leave it on it is dark at first and if it’s not even there will be lighter/darker areas. It colored on super super fast.My advice:Use gloves, brush through, and if you don’t want it as dark and just want a touch up, try diluting the dye with a red shampoo or conditioner so you can apply it evenly and brush it through. Great for in between hair appts. I did Terra Cotta and I was blonde (bleached) priorUPDATE: It DOES have a pink hue.. just be advised! It’s more one the red side versus ginger copper side but I still liked it.

Beautiful, non-damaging color refresher
I use this temporary color in between salon visits. It's easy to use, the smell is decent, and it leaves my hair feeling very moisturized. I love that it causes no damage, yet it gives my hair a deep, rich shine and color boost. It helps me avoid more frequent coloring which can cause damage.I wish it lasted longer, however... at most, it will last on my hair through 3-4 shampoos. For the money, however, it's a good deal to get this much shine and coverage from a temporary color.I leave it on longer than the 5-10 minutes suggested so I get a deeper color. I will put this on towel-dried hair after a shower and leave for up to an hour with a shower cap on before rinsing out.Be aware that this does stain skin and hands, however, so I always use gloves.

Not Temporary as Advertised
Giving one star only due to false advertising and color not matching description.Pros:Color stays vibrant after multiple washes with only a single application.Hair feels soft after, non-damagingInexpensiveCons:More red than copperNot temporary, I’ve had permanent hair color wash out faster. No directions provided in packagingTo note, I am aware than even temporary hair colors can stain. But this color did not budge even a little after many, many washes. I also know that color will show up differently depending on the hair color it’s applied to. I have a blonde balayage and this turned my whole head auburn red. Not the worst but not the color I was going for.If you’re looking for a lasting red that is non-damaging, then this is for you. If you’re looking for a temporary change up, stay far away.

Cute but could be better.
The media could not be loaded. Color isn’t as vibrant as they describe.

left on longer than it stated and deposited color- however feels like it dried out my hair
liked the product. first left it on for 15 minutes and mild color deposited..seemed like not much at all, if any.. and i felt like it dried out my hair.. The next time my hair was dried fully and then used a squirt bottle and misted my hair (BARELY misted) all over ..still I left my hair pretty dry- i then applied the color and left it on for 30 to 45 minutes and rinsed and the color deposited richly. You cant really apply to totally dry hair or you will get splotches of dark color in random spots because the color doesn't spread evenly, so just make sure it's mildly wet-ish.

Great Alternative
I have been coloring my hair for almost 40 years, and now that I have gray hair, it’s become such a pain. Every two weeks the gray appears and I HAVE to color my hair whether I want to or not. So I stopped and let my hair grow out. This temporary product is a perfect alternative that does not require a long term commitment. I use it before a vacation, a wedding, etc. The color slowly disappears within about 15 shampoos. There’s no line and nothing obvious. It does not have the same coverage as permanent color has, especially because I have so much gray now, but it’s such an improvement and so easy to use. My hair is dark brown and after using this product, my grays turn into light brown, so it looks a little like highlights or like I have just a little gray instead of a full head. I’ll never use permanent color again. It’s also the only temporary dye I’ve been able to find with “regular” colors. All other brands of temporary hair color have pinks, blues, purples, and the like.

Cannot believe how well this toner worked!
I wanted to lighten my hair this summer without bleaching it. I normally have natural reddish brown hair. I like using toners/glosses/semi-permanent colors to change my hair shade a bit while keeping it healthy. I used a hydrogen peroxide lightening spray several times and liked how it lightened the top layer of my hair. My hair lightened with the spray but also ended up with some orange brassy effects as well as blonde highlights. Used blue shampoo and conditioning mask to tone down the orange. They worked minimally on their own. So, I decided to try the Clairol Cool Blonde Gloss to see if it would help with the brassy and bring out the blonde highlights a bit more. Did the trick! I was not optimistic when I used it, but it definitely worked. Disclaimer, I did use the blue shampoo first, then a normal intense conditioner, towel dried my clean hear, and applied the gloss for 20 minutes. I put a plastic processing cap over my glossed hair for the 20 minutes. The orange is very toned down, and the blonde is more prominent and ashy, not so yellow.Update: This gloss works like the Garnier Color Reviver hair mask. It does not last 10 washes. It is something you use weekly as a conditioning hair mask. The cost is comparative or less expensive than similar products. I like the color result better than the Garnier mask. It does have a strong scent, which I like, but if you are scent averse, you will not like it.

Must be bleached
My son tried this on his hair and it didn't work at all. There was no color what so ever. We then read the fine print and the hair must be bleached before using. The point of a non permanent hair dye is to be able to use it on natural hair and not permanently change the hair so a non permanent hair dye can be used. My son was very disappointed.
