Great product and very tasty!
The tomatoes are moist and flavorful, and the minced style is a nice change from the julienne strips one normally finds in stores. It's nice not to have to drain oil, either. Be prepared, though - you get a LOT with this package. Before buying, make sure you have either recipes to use these in or a storage plan. (FYI: They DO keep well in the freezer.)

Very good, but it's a lot
Very good, and easier to use than the jarred dried tomatoes you can get at the grocery store. There's an awful lot of them, though, so you probably want to have plans to make a couple of large recipes using them before you buy. I made almost five gallons each of marinara and chili, and these let me get a stronger tomato taste than just diced tomatoes and paste would have. They're also good on salads with certain dressings.

I’m so impressed with the Exceptional Quality of Sun-Dried, SUPER RED tomato Halves, & Tasty 😋 too
The quality of these sun dried tomatoes is exceptional. The color is vibrant, the tomatoes are moist and as you can see from my photos, these tomatoes don’t look like shoe leather like so many other brands of sun dried tomatoes. I’m storing my tomatoes in 2qt. containers drowned in olive oil with Italian herbs. Yum 😋 Ready to use anytime in omelets, pasta, pizza, salad, etc.. I highly recommend this product and I’ll be a repeat customer. YUM 😋 🍅

When tomatoes travel with other unknown things
I guess it was the odd bag among the good ones, or perhaps the end of the original bag they come in with gazillion other pounds, who knows? But what I know was the shock to find out from the moment we opened the bag more little black things and stems that did not looked like tomatoes tiny stems, usually left on the tomatoes when they are not too ripe. I still don't know what they were. So you can see what I am talking about this was what came out when we opened the bag (the photo tells the story) Every Christmas since I can remember I have made this recipe, filled nice jars with it and everyone leaves home after dinner with at least one, I spend the whole year finding nice jars and my good arm getting hurt from chopping usually 5 pounds of tomatoes. So I decided I will save myself at least the chopping. Not now, obviously. Not knowing what all the other things were they were tossed into the recycle bin because among other things no place here - I may have missed it but I couldn't find it today either - what I found too late on the bag: if you are allergic to anything as the usual suspects like peanuts for instance, don't get these tomatoes. They are cut, and packed in a place that I thought you have to warn the buyers about if on the Web when selling your product. I found it on the outside of the bag. Too late for those who have instant reactions. We don't know how they taste because obviously after finding all those little black whatevers, and the late announcement about the place where they get packed, we decided it wasn't worth to try them.

I am very pleased with the sun-dried tomatoes
I am very pleased with the sun-dried tomatoes. The quality is excellent, fresh and tasty. I buy it in bulk, because we use it almost on daily basis.Once I open the bag I keep it in the refrigerator in an additional zip-lock bag. It keeps fresh for a long time.I make a sandwich spread with it by adding grated Parmesan cheese, olive oil, a generous amount of garlic and numerous herbs. It is a very satisfying recipe with my family and friends.I will continue to order this item in the future.Thank you,Valeria C.

Quite moist compared to most sun-dried tomatoes but still very good
These tomatoes are quite soft and moist compared to other sun-dried tomatoes I've tried. I wouldn't be surprised if 20% of the five-pound weight of a bag is remaining moisture. Given how moist they are, I don't know if they might be inclined to develop mold or spoil if not refrigerated. I use these to snack on and since I don't like cold tomatoes, I have not refrigerated mine (the package doesn't specify to refrigerate after opening). So far, a couple weeks after I first opened them, they are still fine.Having said that, they're quite flavorful and not overly salty. I own a food dehydrator, and I loaded it up with about a half bag of these tomatoes, sprinkled them with a mixture of Italian seasonings and garlic powder, and dried them at 135 degrees for two to three hours and they came out just the way I like them.

Blah
They’re dry and taste like chemicals. I won’t order them again.

Great quality!
These were dried perfectly - I was able to make 4-1# vacuum-sealed packages and froze them. With the remaining pound, I made a tapenade that got rave reviews, and then put the remaining tomatoes in a glass jar, covered them with olive oil and put them in the fridge. I will be using more today for tapenade and a quinoa/ chickpea salad. These are delicious!!
