I didn't notice a strong or a pungent smell to the product. Not a strong alcohol smell or anything. I mean there is a slight smell but not something that would burn your eyes or anything, almost not noticeable. Reminds me kind of like Elmer's School Glue but less than rubber cement glue.

Q: will this glue floral foam to metal, glass or plastic containers?

I made some corsages using the glue and it adhered to metal and plastic. Not sure about the glass and foam, but my guess is that it would work well on those as well.

Logan, I've been making corsages with this product for 12 years. That is, gluing fresh florals into a ribbon and plastic base. It would absolutely work to adhere air dry plants to whatever surface.

Q: What kind of "syringe-type-device" can I use as a precision applicator and how can I clean it out? This glue is messy!

I was using toothpicks to do both. It is very messy. The metal tube is hard to work with. I used toothpicks for precision and also to clear the tip before putting the lid back on. I also would let the glue of the sides of the tip dry so that I could peel it off. I had a super hard time getting the lid off the second time using it because of the glue on the sides so after that I would remove what I could before putting the lid on.
